Outlaw Automation has been providing industrial automation solutions for nearly 15 years. Our automation knowledge and company depth has increased each and every year to offer a total solution to our customers. Our ability to maintain existing field infrastructures with dated equipment combined with new leading-edge technologies allows the corporation to offer a unique level of service and support to our clients.

The company is approaching 100 million in total gross sales through our Western Canadian base (Head Office is located in Calgary) and associated Alberta offices and we are currently active in Asia, India, and the United States of America with representation in Dallas, Texas and Boise, Idaho. We also maintain various partner companies, who assist us with remote field installations and maintenance programs when required.    

“Outlaw Automation Inc.” (or OAI) primarily provides industrial automation related SCADA solutions to our clients. Our technical staff is comprised of seasoned employees and contractors with various backgrounds such as engineering, electrical and instrumentation trades, communications, software and electronics technicians to name a few. The company believes that a combination of different skill-sets allows us to be competitive in offering a total solution to our customers.    

Outlaw Automation provides complete control solutions for our customers, from custom software solutions and control system design and related fabrication, to system commissioning and start-up. We strive to apply our specialties to reduce operational or maintenance costs and increase customer profitability. The company also supports the systems and infrastructure we design and commission through maintenance contracts, support programs, and operations training. Our client list exceeds 200 companies, including the largest Oil and Gas companies in Canada. The company maintains current “Master Service Agreements” (or MSA’s) with Canadian Natural Resources, Encana, Cenovus, Husky Energy, and Talisman to name a few.

Outlaw Automation’s highest priority is safety. The company is an upstanding member of numerous safety organizations and maintains an impeccable safety record.

Outlaw Automation has been involved in “Human Machine Interfaces” (or HMI) development and support on various different levels with numerous different HMI products that are available throughout the industrial automation and controls industry. The release of the Outlaw Automation “ICScada HMI Control System” (or ICS) has proven to be a viable economical alternative when compared to existing technologies or solutions available today. The ability to offer an HMI system with unlimited tagging and unlimited user access in a server or remote web hosted solution makes the ICScada HMI suitable for any control application. The ICScada HMI Control System has been deployed throughout Industries such as Oil and Gas (Facilities, LDS, and Gathering), Waste and Fresh Water, Wind Generation, Power and Utilities, and Factory applications. The development of superior protocol drivers with redundant cluster databases, has solidified ICScada as a dynamic software HMI Control solution.             

Outlaw Automation has been a leader in “Natural Gas Well Optimization and De-Liquification” (or OPT) techniques for more than a decade. Our multi-mode software programs offer numerous solutions and flexibility for velocity lift and plunger applications, all contained within a single program to address operational field and well dynamics. The programs have evolved over time to incorporate horizontal well, critical flow, delta pressure optimization techniques as well as incorporating pipeline protection, ESD, and operational control routines all combined into a universal program that can be installed in a broad product line. This unique approach has been adopted by the largest of Oil and Gas companies in Canada, addressing control standards in thousands of installations.      

Outlaw Automation has also combined some of our technologies to bring to market new products. The 2010 release of the “Oil Field Production Solution” (or OPS), a cost effective method for remotely monitoring Oil production facilities and associated equipment (drives, tanks, pumps, and motors), and “ICData” (or ICD) for well testing and remote data gathering are 2 such products.    

Moving forward the company is interested in expanding further into the global market, continuing to grow and promote ICS industrial automation solutions and our products in a wider area in the USA and branching out in  Europe, South America, and the Middle East. 

Outlaw Automation is a privately held corporation, presently controlled by multiple internal and external directors.
